Idrija has been one of the Slovene towns to organise a cycling event,
part of the national project 'Slovenija kolesari' in the last years.
The cycling event takes place in june and its aim is promotion of
cycling as one of the most suitable sports. The event takes place in
Črni Vrh near Idrija, a place known for its cycling tradition. Cyclists
can choose among different routes. There is also a rich cultural,
entertaining and ethnological programme to accompany the sports part of
the day.
