Alter-art festival and Tango festival

The two traditional musical festivals in Idrija are organised by the
local association of musicians and music fans. They take place in July
(Tango) and in August (Alter-art). At these festivals new, young and
perspective artists from Idrija and elsewhere are presented to the
public. There are concerts, exhibitions, shows, plays put on the
programme to enable young artists show their work(s) and their skills.
Beside these events the association also organises concert tours for
various domestic and foreign musicians.
