Land of Art and Wine - About the project
The project "Land of Art and Wine" - »Po poteh umetnostne obrti in vina«, as a common project of the Italian and Slovene partners, is a continuation of various activities that had been done in the fields of Idrija Lace and wine within two borderland winegrowing areas – the Vipava valley and the Brda wine route – in the previous years in the Northern Primorska region.
Idrija Lace and wine certainly represent a very important heritage element of the entire area. Their widespread recognition and possibility to apply them in various fields they represent an element which can be used for building a high quality and interesting tourist destination. At this point the Italian partners from Venice with their traditional arts and crafts products join the story.
